I have been trying to down- grade my paper towel use (I'm addicted to paper towels) and these are perfect. They absorb an incredible amount of water. I use them in the kitchen and to clean up the kids and the kids use them for their messes. I've already washed one cloth and it seems even more absorbent. When I got the Bamboo roll I put it in the paper towel dispenser (they fit perfectly) and I put the normal paper towels away just in case I needed them.
